Ok, we all know Topps' "Superman In The Jungle" was tested in the US and released in the UK by A&BC, but did you know it made it to Mexico as bubble gum comics, similar to Bazooka Joe? I was shocked to find these... Original Topps' cards below... H ere is the auction description, so they may have never made it to production! "(EPHEMERA) COMIC WRAPPERS. Rare (possibly unique) uncut sheet of 1972 Topps Superman wrappers issued in Mexico. Twenty-five stamps in the strip, originating from the Topps archive.Condition: A few fold lines, as that is how they were stored by Topps in their archive, otherwise fine."

I just noticed that the artwork on the comics has been changed slightly from the original. Look at the Lois comic... more artwork at the left and right edges, and cropped at the bottom to make room for the text. On the Jimmy in the middle, Superman and Jimmy have been shifted to the left, adding to the temple, and the same bottom cropping. You can see there are several uncut strips in the image, but the only image I could find was this one. It would be nice to have seen the other strips.
