Information.

I don't feel that I am "outing" this auction, as this is the second relist. Auction is a reserve, and while I have messaged the seller that on a set this rare, he/she might get more bids if he/she posted the reserve, so far my message has been ignored.

And while I have several, complete sets of these rarely surface. There are several cards, that for some reason unknown to me, are much more difficult than others.

So Jon - at times I'm a bit dense - what are you trying to say or what are you looking to ask of us or others?

Henry - just letting those who might collect these know that the complete set is out there. Just information.

I did bid in the first auction, but when the reserve was never hit, I quit, even though the high bid was significantly lower than my maximum. But thought someone else might have less issues with bidding in a reserve auction; and these really are hard to come by.

And no, I have no idea the name of the seller.

Jon.

Hi Jon,
I have always liked the look of these cards. Did they only do the series the one year?

Todd - yes, one year only for Stark & Wetzel.

Later, in the 1960's, Marhoefer did several sets over multiple years.
